About The Entry

This project presents an innovative design for a retirement home, centered around the compelling concept of “allowing technology and life to coexist in parallel.” By thoughtfully integrating elements such as metal, stone, and a variety of light sources, the design aims to reinterpret and elevate the aesthetic experience of the space. Notable features of the design include a cleverly concealed storage system that spans throughout each room, providing both practicality and a sense of seamless organization. Additionally, the incorporation of mood lighting modules enhances the atmosphere, allowing residents to tailor their environment according to their preferences and activities. Moreover, the careful selection of diverse materials adds depth and character to the space, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. Ultimately, this design strives to foster a private and harmonious dwelling that embodies order, functionality, and a profound sense of stability, making it an ideal place for residents to thrive in their golden years.

As one steps into the foyer, a carefully curated ensemble of materials greets them, immediately creating a sense of elegance. The combination of stainless steel, plain-colored melamine panels, gray mirrors, and stone works harmoniously with linear lighting that gently guides movement through the space. Notably, the clever concealment of electrical panels and storage systems within the walls contributes to a pristine and sophisticated first impression. To the left, the columns are adorned with gray-toned, antique-finished stone, echoing the same stone used throughout the interior. This design choice expertly creates a harmonious interplay of textures and tones. Transitioning into the living room, the TV wall features an exquisite brushed metal panel with graceful, curved edges. Indirect lighting cascades below and along the sides, encapsulating a modern and technological aesthetic that enhances the room's allure.

In the dining area, the island and dining table present an impressive fusion of glossy gray stone, wood grain, iron, and black melamine panels. This meticulous integration not only showcases the diversity of materials but also elevates the overall design narrative. The immersive visual harmony and opulence of the space are further amplified by thoughtfully executed storage solutions.
